BSc, Post Basic and M.Sc Nursing: Fees hiked in self–financing colleges

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Regulatory Committee has approved a 10 percent fee hike in B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic Nursing and M.Sc Nursing courses in self-financing nursing colleges. The approval has been given to 47 colleges under the Private Nursing College Management Association and 35 colleges under the Christian Self-financing Nursing College Management Association.

The fee for 85 percent nursing seats has been increased from Rs 73,205 to Rs 80,328 and for 15 percent seats from Rs 95,000 to Rs 1,04,500. The increase is at the same rate for the post-basic nursing course. The fee for M.Sc Nursing has been increased from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1,10,000. There is also a slight increase in special fees.
