Candidate dies on polling day; elections in tenth ward of Pampakuda panchayat postponed

KOCHI: A candidate died on the polling day. The dead is C S Babu, the UDF candidate of the tenth ward of Pampakuda panchayat in Muvattupuzha taluk in Ernakulam. He died Tuesday early morning at 2.30 am after suffering a heart attack. Babu was former president of the Piravom Merchants Association. Elections in the tenth ward of Pampakuda panchayat has been postponed following his demise.
