Car crashes into street light pole in Thiruvananthapuram's Pattoor; three seriously injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three people were seriously injured when a car crashed into a street light post at Pattoor Junction. The car, which was coming from Chackai Bypass, crashed in front of Artech Building at 12 am.

There were four people in the car, including the driver. Police said that three of them are in critical condition. Two women and a man are among the injured. They were shifted to the Medical College Hospital. The driver sustained minor injuries.

It is reported that the family include natives of Vikas Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. According to onlookers, the car lost control while attempting to overtake a Bolero car on the narrow road. The police said that they will examine the CCTV footage and conduct an investigation. The fire force arrived to clean up the oil spilt from the car on the road after the accident.
