Chief minister in Raj Bhavan to meet Governor; meeting amidst Uty rift

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived at the Raj Bhavan to hold talks with Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. The two are meeting amidst the intensifying university dispute. A decision will be taken today on whether a settlement can be reached on the issue. The appointment of the VC and the crisis in Kerala University will be discussed.


Meantime, registrar Dr K S Anil Kumar came to the Kerala University yesterday even after suspension. However, the VC told 'Kerala Kaumudi' let the Governor decide everything. 'The minister had promised to remove the registrar. The VC said that in case the promise is not kept, the information will be informed to the governor. Minister Bindu's explanation is that efforts are being made to resolve the issue and the present issues will be handled without aggravating it.
