
KOZHIKODE: Children who received the Japanese encephalitis vaccine were admitted to the hospital after developing physical discomfort. Three children have been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. They experienced symptoms such as vomiting and vision problems.
Meanwhile, health department officials said there is no need for concern. District Medical Officer Dr Rajaram said such reactions can occur in some people after vaccination, and that the children are safe. He added that the children are undergoing further medical examinations and are expected to be discharged soon, according to the health department.
