Class IX students swept away in Achankovil river: Body of second student found after two days

PATHANAMTHITTA: The body of the second student who went missing after being swept away by the current at the Kallara bathing ghat in Achankovil River has been found. The body of Nabeel Nizam, a class IX student, was found during a search operation conducted by the voluntary organization 'Nanma Kootam'.

The two students were swept away by the current on Tuesday afternoon. The body of Ajzal Ajeeb was found by the fire force that same day. The duo, class IX students of Marthoma School, Pathanamthitta, had reached the Kallara bridge with their friends after their exams. The two of them slipped and fell on the side of the barrier while taking a photo.
