Covid patient dies in Kannur; body cremated following Covid protocol

KANNUR: A person who contracted Covid has died in Kannur. He has been identified as T K Madhavan (89) of Muzhuppilangad in Kannur. The DMO said that he had other health issues also along with Covid. The body was cremated in Payyambalam following Covid protocol. It is the first time since last June that a person suffering from Covid has died in Kannur.
