Death of vlogger Chinnu Pappu; Male friend found hanging

KASARGOD: Male friend of vlogger Chinnu Pappu alias Reshma was found hanging. The dead is Santhosh (29) of Mannipadi in Kasargod. Reshma (24) and Santhosh were living together. Santhosh was mentally upset after her death. He took the drastic step Sunday afternoon. Although he was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved. His body is kept in Kasargod General Hospital. Chinnu Papppu was found hanging at home last Monday.

Santhosh was questioned after her death. The police had released him after interrogation. He was released after it was found that the charge of abetment of suicide did not stand. The two were staying together in a rented house in Uliyathaduka. Reshma was earlier married to someone else and she has a son from it. After divorcing her husband, she started living with Santhosh.

The police had earlier conducted an investigation into Reshma's death. Although there were some disagreements between the two, the police had found that these were normal issues that could arise when living together. The police have sent the phones of Santhosh and Reshma to the forensic department for examination. After postmortem, the body of Santhosh will be handed over to his relatives.
