'Destroyed costly shades gifted by another actor, suffered big setback last week'

KOCHI: Details of the FIR filed against actor Unni Mukundan for allegedly assaulting his manager are out. As per the report, the actor confronted his manager at the parking space of Kakkanad apartment and even slapped him. The manager scampered but the actor followed him, issued threats and nearly started to attack him again when another flat owner intervened and alleviated the tensions.

Manager Vipin Kumar’s complaint with the Infopark police says that the actor unleashed his rage only because Vipin praised the latest movie ‘Narivetta’ on Facebook.

From the complaint:

• Unni stomped on Vipin's costly shades because it was gifted to him by another prominent actor.
• After ‘Marco’, Unni faced some tough days with many projects getting shelved at the last minute.
• Unni’s directional debut was dropped last week after Gokulam Movies backed out from the project. This left him in total shock.
• It was normal for the actor to vent his frustrations. It is because of this attitude most of his former loyal friends have left him.

“I have been in the industry for the last 18 years. Never did I have to endure such an experience. I have filed a complaint with various film organizations. I have more to say and will open up in the coming days.” said Vipin.
