'Even alleged KSU workers strangled Minister Veena George, worst liar currently in Kerala'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan called CPM state secretary MV Govindan the worst liar in Kerala. Satheesan ridiculed MV Govindan for going to the extent of alleging that the KSU workers strangled Health Minister Veena George. Satheesan said the statement could win Govindan the Nobel Prize for best liar.

VD Satheesan had alleged CPM-BJP deal in 10 constituencies, including Palakkad. In a response, Govindan said that the CPM-BJP deal allegation was absurd and called VD Satheesan a liar fit for the Nobel Prize. This forced a response from Satheesan.

BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar had also reacted to Satheesan's allegation of CPM-BJP deal. Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that Satheesan was covering his fear of election defeat by rambling random thoughts. In a response, Satheesan said that the 'businessman' should not teach him politics and opined that Rajeev came to politics under deputation and not through hardwork.
