Expat who reached home two days ago dies in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An expatriate who reached home for vacation from Kuwait two days ago met with a tragic end in a car accident. The dead is Christopher (51) of Kattimancode near Eraniel. The car lost control near Bhoothapandi in Nagercoil and overturned into a canal.


Christopher had reached Bhoothapandi by car on Sunday evening to attend a function at his relative's house. He lost control of his car on his way back home near Navalkadu and overturned into the Arashiyar canal on the roadside.

Christopher, who was trapped inside the car, was pulled out with the help of locals, but his life could not be saved. Christopher's wife, Jnasheela, is a nurse abroad. All three of his children live with Jnasheela’s mother in Kattimancode.
