Four sustain injuries, one loses leg as bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims’ overturns

PATHANAMTHITTA: A bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims met with an accident at Vadasserikkara in Pathanamthitta. The bus that met with an accident was carrying pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh. They were returning after darshan in Sabarimala.

The accident happened when the bus lost control and overturned to one side. The bus was carrying 49 people. Four pilgrims injured in the accident have been taken to Ranni Taluk Hospital. Authorities said one of them had lost his leg.
