Freight train carrying fuel catches fire near Uppidamoodu Bridge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A freight train carrying fuel caught fire near Thiruvananthapuram Uppidamoodu Bridge on Tuesday. The fire force immediately reached the location and doused the fire, avoiding a major disaster. Locals first saw fire rising from a bogie of the train parked near the Uppidamoodu bridge.

The locals informed the fire department. It is reported that a bird that was electrocuted on the lines caught fire and fell into the bogie, resulting in the accident.
