THRISSUR: More details emerged regarding the unmarried couple in Thrissur, now in custody for conducting a horrific human sacrifice ritual. In a frightening revelation, an unmarried couple has been accused of burying newborn babies. The shocking incident is reported in Thrissur's Pudukkad. The couple, aged 26 and 21, both natives of Vellikulangara, have been taken into custody in the incident.

The couple had their first baby three years ago. After giving birth, the woman informed her partner about the newborn’s death. The couple then decided to bury the baby and collect bones. Soon after, the young woman became pregnant again. This time too, she informed about the death of the newborn to her partner.

The bone fragments of the second child were also handed over to the young man for ritual. However, the youngster had a moment of reckoning and feared the chances of his being next in line. He risked no further and took the bone fragments to the police station in Pudukkad. Meanwhile, the police have informed that the bones will undergo scientific tests.

The police are preparing to call the woman's relatives and question them. Thrissur Rural SP Krishnakumar B responded to the media regarding this incident. The youth reached the station at around midnight on Saturday in an inebriated state. The youth then confessed to police about burying two newborns in two different locations.
