KOTTAYAM: The fronts are in a desperate attempt to secure the last vote in Puthupally. The UDF, LDF and the BJP are all excited as the campaigning is about to end at 6 pm. Jamboree is progressing in Pampady.

LDF candidate Jaick C Thomas, UDF candidate Chandy Oommen and BJP's Lijin Lal will reach Pampady. Opposition leader V D Satheesan and Shashi Tharoor are in the constituency to secure votes for Chandy Oommen. The ministers have come for Jaick.

Minister V N Vasavan said the situation is favourable for Jaick. The minister also told a media that six panchayats in the constituency are ruled by the LDF. Meantime, the UDF claimed that anti-government sentiments will turn into votes. BJP's hope lies in the faith community.
