Government to move ahead with Elappully Brewery construction: Decision taken in LDF meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has decided to move forward with the construction of a brewery in Elappully, Palakkad. This decision was taken at the Left Front meeting. The government decided to move forward with the construction of the brewery despite the opposition of the CPI and RJD. It was also decided in the meeting to move forward without any objections.

The Chief Minister took the stand to move forward with the project despite strong opposition from the CPI and RJD. The Chief Minister said that there is no need to worry about the issues raised regarding drinking water and that the government will resolve any other concerns. CPM State Secretary MV Govindan also clarified in the meeting that there is no need to worry about the project.

However, CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam took the stand in the meeting that the problem is choosing Elappully as the location. He also asked can't another place be considered instead of Elappully. However, MV Govindan took the stand in the meeting that there is no basis for concern about drinking water.
