Heat will rise further in nine districts, Meteorological Department warns

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Meteorological department has warned that summer will continue to be strong in Kerala. Although the summer rains were supposed to be a relief, most of the places experienced only light rain. Many places did not even get any rain.

Now the weather department has issued a warning that the temperature will rise further. Nine districts have been warned that the temperature will rise to 39 degrees in Kollam, Thrissur and Palakkad districts. The temperature is likely to be two to three degrees higher than normal.
