'He even misbehaved with me, still have WhatsApp audio message'; Vipanchika's mother Shailaja makes shocking allegation

KOLLAM: Vipanchika, a native of Chandanathope, and her daughter Vaibhavi were found dead in her apartment in Sharjah a few days back. The family of Vipanchika had come forward crying foul over the matter, blaming her in-laws for the death. According to police reports, Vipanchika murdered her daughter before committing suicide. And now, Vipanchika’s mother, Shailaja, blamed her estranged son-in-law, Nidheesh and his family for forcing Vipanchika to take such a terrible decision.

Shailaja:

"Vipanchika's father abandoned us long back, and it all fell upon me to take care of my child. I took care of her and even showed the same love to Nidheesh. Still, they tortured my child and killed her. When Nidheesh decided to cut his hair, his sister coerced Vipanchika to do the same and go bald. It was then that she shaved her head. She was emotionally down during those times.

Vipanchika pretended not to see Nidheesh's illicit affair because she wanted her child to have a father. Nidheesh always called her sister’s child his own and never gave the same affection to his daughter. She would often say how things would get better in future, only to console me. Once, she told me about how her in-laws were crazy over gold and money.

Nidheesh’s father is an uncouth person who even misbehaved with me. I have an audio message of him saved on my phone. I have been a single parent for so long and never faced such a lewd response from any male. Whenever Nidheesh used to hang out with his friends, his father would be there to accompany both Vipanchika and her daughter.

He would start drinking alcohol in the morning. Vipanchika must go into his room and call him for lunch, as it was a strange custom there. He might be lying in bed in a way not appropriate for a daughter-in-law to see. Once, when the couple went for counselling, the counsellor asked Nidheesh whether he had married Vipanchika for himself or his father. He is a youngster with no remorse or affection.”
