Red Alert
Today(26/5/2025), a red alert has been declared in the districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod. For tomorrow (27/5/2025), a red alert has been declared in Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Kannur. These districts are likely to receive extremely heavy rainfall. According to the IMD, extremely heavy rainfall is defined as rainfall more than 204.4 mm within 24 hours.
