Heavy rainfall: Holiday for educational institutions in nine districts tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has declared a holiday for educational institutions in nine districts tomorrow in view of the heavy rains in the state. The holiday was declared in the wake of the Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) warning that the state is likely to receive heavy rainfall for the next three days. Holiday has been declared for educational institutions, including professional colleges, and Anganwadis in Alappuzha, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Malappuram, Idukki, Pathanamthitta and Palakkad districts.
