WAYANAD: A house is getting ready for Shruti, who lost her parents and sister in the landslide in Wayanad and her fiancé in a car accident. The house is being constructed by natives of Chalakudy at Ponnada in Wayanad. The foundation stone will be laid today. The house is being built in an area of 1500 square feet on 11.5 cents of land.

Shruthi, who faced great tragedies in life, is getting a lot of financial help. Industrialist Bobby Chemmannur handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to MLA T Siddique to build the house for her. Siddique had stated the other day that the demand for a government job for her will be raised. Meantime, Youth Congress came forward promising six months of financial assistance to Shruthi. An amount of Rs 15,000 will be paid to her monthly. The Vyapari vyavasayi ekopana samithi offered Rs 3 lakh for Shruthi's treatment.

The landslide struck after the house warming function of Shruthi's new home in Chooralmala was completed and preparations for the wedding were underway. Shruthi had lost her parents and sister in the tragedy. She lost her new house also. She later lost her fiancé Jenson in a car accident.
