THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty strongly criticised BJP state chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar for purportedly confessing to doing nothing for Kerala during his tenure as union minister. The minister said the BJP state chief’s confession was an insult to Keralites and wondered how the educated voters of Nemom would vote for such a person.
“It is now clear from this candid statement that BJP's agenda was never development. The BJP candidate from Nemom publicly confessed that he could not do anything for Kerala during his tenure as the Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The revelation that he did nothing for his own state despite holding the high position of a Union Minister is a complete insult to the people of Kerala. Why is the BJP showing so much hostility towards Kerala? I repeat that I am ready for a debate on the development of the Nemom constituency in the last ten years, “said V Sivankutty.
