KOLLAM: Despite the heartbreak of his wife and relatives, Isaac George's organs will live on through six people. Isaac George (33), son of the late George of Bethel House, Charuvila, Vadakode, Thalavoor, Pathanapuram, lost his life in an accident at 8 pm on September 6th, in front of the 'Bloom Garden Cafe' restaurant on Kottarakkara East Road.
After being confirmed brain dead, the heart was brought to Kochi by air ambulance from KIMS Hospital. The same heart is now beating in the body of Ajin, who is undergoing treatment at Lissy Hospital. Issac’s liver, kidney and cornea were donated to others.
While crossing the road in front of the restaurant, Issac was hit by a duke bike. He was admitted to a hospital in Kottarakkara with serious injuries and was transferred to a hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, but he died on Wednesday evening. He had already told his relatives that he wanted to donate his organs. He had also given a consent form.
After realising that Isaac would never make it back to life, his wife Nancy Mariam Sam and mother Mariamma George (Shanthamma) agreed to the funeral. His daughter Amelia Nancy Isaac is only two years old. The body will be brought home on Friday evening. Issac will be buried at the Vadakode church cemetery tomorrow morning.
Isaac George found happiness in music, photography, and travelling. According to relatives and locals, Issac was a generous youngster, always sporting a smile on his face. He would always be spotted humming up tunes from the recently released songs. Issac had a knack for making new friends and was very active on social media. He started a design company called Deep Root Media and opened a restaurant two years ago.
