'I want money to buy a shirt': Half-naked man goes on rampage at Ernakulam General Hospital; equipment smashed and destroyed 

KOCHI: A youth created a rucus at the Ernakulam General Hospital. The man ran into the hospital and smashed the electronic equipment at the reception and the window of a parked car. The hospital staff stated that the half-naked youth's behaviour was due to intoxication. People tried to persuade the violent youth, but he did not give in.

He was shouting, 'I want Rs 500 to buy a shirt.' Later, a female employee persuaded him by saying that she would give him the money. This incident created a panic in the hospital, which was busy with patients even on Sunday. After being informed by the hospital authorities, the police arrived and took the youth into custody and subjected him to a medical examination.
