IPS officers transferred; major reshuffle in police leadership across the state

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the state government has transferred several senior police officers across key departments.

Kottayam Crime Branch SP Himendranath has been reassigned to the Telecom Department. Viyu Kuriakose, who was serving as the SP of the Ernakulam Crime Branch, will now assume charge as the Special Branch SP in Ernakulam.

K.K. Moydheenkutty, SP of the Kozhikode Crime Branch, has been appointed as Assistant Director at the Police Academy. K. Saleem has been named as the new Commandant of the Malabar Special Police (MSP).

This latest round of transfers follows another reshuffle in the police leadership that took place just last month.
