Jose K Mani is LDF candidate in Pala; Kerala Congress (M) aims to reclaim the prestige constituency

KOTTAYAM: Kerala Congress (M) chairman Jose K Mani will contest in the Pala constituency to win back the constituency that the party lost last time. The Kerala Congress (M) chairman confirmed that he will contest against Mani C Kappan. Jose K Mani confirmed his candidature by sharing a vote request through a Facebook post.

The party had lost the constituency in the by-election held after the death of veteran leader K M Mani. At that time, Mani C Kappan, who contested as the LDF candidate, won the seat. Later, in the 2021 Kerala Assembly election, Kappan contested as a UDF candidate and defeated Jose K Mani in Pala. This time, Jose K. Mani and Kerala Congress (M) are hoping to reclaim the constituency.
