The National Oceanographic Research Centre (NORC) informed of a possibility of sea erosion due to waves rising to 0.2 to 1.0 meters along the Kerala coast till 11.30 pm tonight as part of the Kallakadal phenomenon. Fishermen and coastal residents are advised to be vigilant as there is a possibility of sea erosion.
