THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The omitted pages from the Hema Committee report will not be released on Saturday. The Right to Information Commission is examining a complaint they received regarding the issue. The government decision will come only after the commission's verdict.

“I don't know who the complainant is. The commission suddenly informed that the release won't be made today. It was informed that a decision will be taken only after examining the complaint.” responded Aniru, who filed a petition demanding the government release the omitted parts from the report.

Journalists who filed an appeal under the Freedom of Information Act were informed that they would be handed over the report at 11 am on Saturday. However, a complaint came out of nowhere at the last minute, impeding the release.

Minister Saji Cherian earlier confirmed not having any objection to releasing the report. Pages 49 to 53 were omitted from the report.
