
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty, the Left candidate in Nemom constituency, said that they will not reject the votes of any group in the assembly polls. He said this while speaking to a private channel, clarifying on the SDPI issue. Sivankutty opined that saying no to votes in such a way is unconstitutional.
The deal in Nemom was between the BJP and the Congress earlier. The Congress is responsible for the BJP opening account there. Sivankutty also clarified that the arrival of Aghoris in Kerala is not welcomed. He said that he is the candidate of the Left Democratic Front, upholds secularism, and anyone who supports the Left's stand can vote.
He is not worried about the BJP coming ahead in the last elections in Nemom. They got more than 59,000 votes in the election he lost. When won, did not get that many votes.
Had informed that was ready for a debate with the BJP candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar in Nemom. He is now saying that he will hold a debate with the chief minister. However, Sivankutty clarified that the chief minister is not there to talk about Nemom alone.
