Man injured after car driven by drunk serial actor hits him

KOTTAYAM: A pedestrian sustained injuries after a car driven by serial actor Siddarth Prabhu hits him. The actor who was in an inebriated condition attacked the locals and the police, who were engaged in the rescue operations. The Chingavanam police finally took him into custody using force.

The accident happened near the Nattakam Government College on the M C road last night. The actor who was coming from Kottayam, lost control of his car and hit the pedestrian. He fell on the road and he was soon taken to the general hospital and later to Kottayam Medical College. A verbal dispute broke out between the locals engaged in the rescue operations and the actor. He started hurling abuses at the locals and this created a ruckus. On being informed, the police reached the spot and took him into custody.
