Man kicks down woman doctor after she informed death of his wife, doctor under treatment

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman doctor of Medical College Hospital was kicked down by a man after she informed him about his wife's death. The deceased patient was undergoing treatment in Neuro ICU. She passed away last night.

After coming out of the ICU, the doctor informed the patient's husband about the death. He got angry and kicked the doctor. The doctor was rescued by the security personnel. The injured doctor is undergoing treatment at the medical college. The doctors of the medical college protested following the incident. The Superintendent of the Medical College called a meeting of the doctors' representatives. Officials said that they will discuss the continuous incidents of violence against doctors and demand strong action.
