Malayali woman doctor found dead in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI: A Malayali woman doctor was found dead in Abu Dhabi. She has been identified as Dr Dhanalakshmi (54) of Thalappu in Kannur. Her body was found Monday night at her accommodation in Musaffah. She was a dentist in Life Care Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

People had tried to contact her on phone for two days. She did not turn up for duty on Monday. She was working in Abu Dhabi for more than ten years. She was a member of Abu Dhabi Malayali Samajam, a cultural activist and a writer. She was active on social media.

She had earlier worked at Dhanalakshmi Hospital in Kannur. She is the daughter of late Narayanan, owner of Anandakrishna Bus Service in Kannur and Chandramathi. Anandakrishnan, Sivaram and Dr Seethalakshmi are her siblings. Her body will be taken to her hometown after completing all the formalities.
