Massive drug bust in Pettah: Two youngsters held with 157 grams of MDMA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Excise conducted a major MDMA raid in Pettah railway station, arresting two youngsters. The youths, Nandu, a native of Kattakkada, and Nandahari, a native of Kudavoor, were arrested. The incident took place at around 9:30 am today. Drugs worth more than eight lakh rupees were seized from the youngsters. The accused were caught while returning after collecting 157 grams of MDMA from another person on a train that came to Pettah from Bengaluru.

The investigation was led by the Thiruvananthapuram Excise Narcotics Team and Pettah Police. The action was based on a tip-off. It is learnt that the accused were planning to sell the narcotics in Pettah and Vanchiyoor areas. MDMA were hidden inside the pockets of their clothes.
