Middle-aged man found dead in rubber plantation in Thodupuzha

THODUPUZHA: A middle-aged man was found dead near a shed in a rubber plantation in Idukki’s Thodupuzha. The dead has been identified as Joseph (57) of Methotti Kaithakandathil. He was looking after a plot in Poomala. He was living in a shed in the plantation. Police said that he may have collapsed while walking back to the shed after reaching Poomala town.

A post-mortem was conducted at the Thodupuzha District Hospital. The cause of death was heart attack. The inquest proceedings were completed by a team led by Kanjar sub inspector Baiju P Babu and the body was handed over to his relatives. He leaves behind his
