Milma mulls increasing milk prices, new product to be launched in February

KOZHIKODE: Milma Chairman KS Mani said that the next board meeting will discuss whether to increase milk prices or not. The decision will be made after examining all aspects. He also clarified in a press conference that efforts will be made to avoid any setback in the market.

Milma's new product, with many health benefits, will be launched in the market by February.

The expert committee has recommended an increase in milk prices. Dairy farmers are also making the same demand. The Malabar region achieved a record in milk procurement, with a 14 per cent increase. There is a daily procurement of 7,30,000 litres of milk.
