MR Ajith Kumar given additional charge, appointed as BEVCO Chairman

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M.R. Ajith Kumar, who currently serves as the Excise Commissioner, has been given additional charge as BEVCO Chairman. Until now, Harshita Attaluri had been holding the dual roles of BEVCO Chairman and Managing Director. As per the new order, Ajith Kumar will take over as Chairman, while Harshita Attaluri will continue as Managing Director.

Until 2021, the Excise Commissioner also served as BEVCO Chairman. However, when Yogesh Gupta assumed charge of BEVCO, he was appointed Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) owing to his seniority. Subsequent officials also held the CMD position.
