MVD fines carless man 3250 rupees for pasting cooling film, records show a scooter, but pictures reveal a Swift

THRISSUR: The motor vehicle department fined a biker for illegally sticking cooling film. Naushad, a native of Edathirinji, Irinjalakuda, received the letter stating that he has to pay a fine. Rs 3250 is shown as the penalty amount. The letter has been sent by the Muvattupuzha RT office. But Naushad says that he has not been to Kothamangalam or Muvattupuzha recently.

The penalty is for sticking the cooling film and not displaying the number plate properly. Meanwhile, in the letter sent from the RT office, the picture of a Swift car is shown. In the slot for vehicle, it reads scooter. But Naushad does not own a car. Address, vehicle number and phone number are all correct.

According to the letter, MVD has conducted an inspection at the Kothamangalam-Malayenkeezhu area and the vehicle has been fined during that. The name of the driver has also been given. Naushad works in Thrissur. Naushad also says that does not go anywhere else except the Irinjalakuda-Thrissur region.
