Mystery in Vipanchika's death? Crime Branch roped in to investigate

KOLLAM: The Crime Branch will investigate the death of Kollam native Vipanchika and her child. Both of them were found dead in their apartment in Sharjah a few weeks back. The investigation is currently being conducted by the Sasthamkotta DySP. The team will be decided, and an order in this regard will be issued soon.

The police have registered a case against Vipanchika's husband, Nidhish, his father and his sister. The case has been filed under sections such as abetment to suicide and dowry harassment. The investigation is in the preliminary stage.

The police have collected statements from Vipanchika's family members. The officials received Vipanchika's phone, and a forensic examination is also underway. The family members are still standing firm on their stance of mystery in the death of the woman and her daughter.
