'No more goods needed for Wayanad relief camps, ample supplies received,' says Thiruvananthapuram collector

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: District Collector Anu Kumari informed that there is no more need for goods to be delivered at collection center of Thiruvananthapuram District Collectorate to provide to Wayanad relief camps. At present, sufficient quantities of supplies have reached the relief camps. The Collector informed that those who still want to give help should do so through the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Meanwhile, a 53-member fire force team from the district left for Wayanad for rescue operations in the landslide disaster area. A team consisting of four officers and 49 firemen will reach Wayanad for a week-long mission. The first batch of essential commodities received at the collection center of the Collectorate was also released. The first batch will be delivered to Wayanad including food items and medicines.
