
KANNUR: Doctors deemed that Health Minister Veena George, who is undergoing treatment for a neck injury during the KSU workers' protest, does not need to undergo an emergency surgery. The medical bulletin states that the minister's severe pain is relieved and her blood pressure is under control with medication. The pain is due to pressure on the vertebrae in her neck.
