'No second thoughts in Nemom, will support LDF'; SDPI national president clears the air

KOZHIKODE: SDPI national president MK Faizy said that the party will support any front in constituencies where they are not contesting. SDPI confirmed that the party would support LDF in Nemom constituency, as BJP stands the chance of winning. Faizy said that the party is yet to decide on supporting UDF in Manjeshwaram, where the BJP is putting up a strong fight.

“The SDPI will study the constituency to see who to support in places were BJP stands the chance of winning. There is no need to make an announcement regarding which front SDPI will support. The party will apprise all of our supporters and workers of our stance. If necessary, a public announcement will be made.

Some Congress leaders in Kerala are opposing the SDPI. I don't know why they are doing it. In Tamil Nadu, the front led by Stalin includes Congress and SDPI. In Kerala, the same Congress leaders are antagonising SDPI to please some others. We don't need to support those who oppose us, including the opposition leader," said MK Faizy
