'Not counting crores, I'm here at Kozhikode beach'; M A Sahanas scoffs at Rahul Mamkootathil MLA

KOZHIKODE: Congress leader M A Sahanas mocked the legal notice issued by MLA Rahul Mamkootathil demanding Rs 10 crore compensation. Sahanas used sardonic wit to respond to Rahul in a Facebook post. Many people have come up with comments both in favour and against Rahul Mamkootathil.

Rahul Mamkootathil had demanded Rs 10 crore in a legal notice for false allegations. Sahanas responded to the legal notice by sharing a video of her blowing bubbles on a beach in Kozhikode, along with a caption.

“I am counting, not crores, but the bubbles flying in the sky. His(Rahul's) performance started during the fake voter ID card case, but everything nosedived to nothing now. By the way, I’m here at Kozhikode beach enjoying a fine evening,” wrote Sahanas, sharing a video of her at the beach.

The press conference that led to the legal notice was held on February 3. Sahanas denied Rahul’s claim that she was in rapport with him. Sahanas had alleged in the press conference that the replies Rahul sent to her social media stories were still in her inbox. Sahanas even challenged Rahul to a public debate to prove her wrong.
