Opposition leaders cautionary detention never caught my eye: CM Pinarayi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The dozens of opposition leaders under cautionary detention in wake of the safety measures adopted for CM's itinerary were debated much. Now, the chief minister himself has addressed the assembly and said the incident of detention never caught his eye. He was replying to Vadakkara MLA K K Rema’s question about police getting intrusive over individuals' freedom.

The union home ministry has allotted Z-category protection for the chief minister. However, the cavalcade of the CM was a burning topic as it forced people to halt their vehicles and wait for the CM to pass. Meanwhile, the CM replied that no such breach of personal rights was committed by police forces and said they were just enacting their duties.
