Police begin probe on theft of panchaloha idols and pooja items from temple

PALAKKAD: Panchaloha idols and some pooja items were stolen from the temple in the district. The idols were stolen from the Ayodhya Sree Rama Paduka temple in Thurapalayam near Victoria College in Palakkad. The temple officials said the thief entered by breaking the roof of the temple. Along with the Panchaloha idols, pooja materials were also stolen. The police have started an investigation into the complaint filed.
