Policeman suspended in Kollam for sexually assaulting female cop

KOLLAM: A policeman has been suspended for sexually assaulting a woman cop. The suspended is civil police officer Nawas. The incident happened when the policeman was on deputation at the Neendakara Coastal Police Station. The incident happened on the early morning of November 6 when she went to the restroom after duty.

The Chavara Police had registered a case on the complaint lodged to the commissioner. The investigating report said this act has stained the image of the police force. The city police commissioner took action based on it.
