Pravasi Malayali dies in fire at Kuwait’s Mina Abdullah refinery

KUWAIT CITY: A Malayali was killed and four sustained injuries in a fire at the Mina Abdullah refinery’s desulfurization unit in Kuwait. The dead is Prakash (50), son of Subramanyan of Malappuram BP Angadi Ambat. Prakash's wife and daughter had arrived in Kuwait on a visiting visa a few days ago. Prakash was working in a contracting firm under the Kuwait National Petroleum Company.

The procedures to repatriate the body are progressing.

Meantime, a Malayali died in Kuwait City following a heart attack. He has been identified as Kuningattumeethal Mahesh (41) of Vadakara Puthuppanam. Mahesh was a saloon employee in Kuwait City. He leaves behind his father Gopidas and wife Prasina
