Raghu Kalamassery, popular mimicry artist who shone through Cinemala, passes away

KOCHI: Popular mimicry artist Raghu Kalamassery passed away in Kochi on Thursday. Raghu breathed his last this morning at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Kadavanthra while he was undergoing treatment for heart-related ailments. Raghu was known for impersonating former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the popular yesteryear satirical comedy show 'Cinemala'.

Apart from his mimicry gig, Raghu was an officer at the Kalamassery Naval Base.
