Rahul Mamkootathil is a brutal sexual offender: Survivor

KOCHI: The survivor in the first rape case against MLA Rahul Mamkootathil has filed an affidavit in the High Court describing him as a brutal sexual offender. In the affidavit, she alleged that she was subjected to inhuman sexual abuse even when she was pregnant. She also claimed that he forced her to undergo an abortion by threatening to commit suicide.

The survivor stated that the accused derives pleasure from abusing victims. She said the investigation team has information about nearly ten sexual abuse cases in which Rahul is an accused, including one involving a minor girl. The affidavit also alleged that a nude video, which was recorded after threatening her, is still in Rahul’s possession. She expressed fear that if the accused is granted bail, the video could be made public, posing a serious threat to her life. The bail plea filed by Mamkootathil has been adjourned to Wednesday.
