Rising snakebite incidents in Kerala: 18-year-old girl hospitalised in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Student bitten by snake in Pothencode. Durga (18), a native of Venkode, is currently undergoing treatment after being bitten by a snake. The incident occurred while she was returning home from her grandmother's house.

Although she was immediately rushed to the Valiyakunnu Taluk Hospital in Attingal, she was later shifted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for specialist treatment. Durga is currently under observation at the Medical College; hospital authorities have stated that her condition remains stable.
