RSS leader-ADGP meeting; controversial businessman present along with Chief Minister's relative; accused in three cheating cases

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One of the three persons who accompanied ADGP MR Ajith Kumar during his meeting with top RSS leader Ram Madhav at Kovalam is a controversial businessman who is accused in three serious cheating cases. The other two are a close relative of the chief minister and an RSS leader from Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Kaumudi had reported that a close relative of the chief minister was present at the meeting.

The controversial businessman, who runs a financial business in Chennai, owns three bar hotels in Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram. He also has big businesses in Dubai. He met the RSS leader at a time when a case of embezzlement of lakhs of rupees was active. Of the six bars recently allotted in the capital, he got two. Earlier, he had bar hotels in Tamil Nadu as well. He also owns a four-star hotel near Thalassery town. He also has huge investments in Kannur airport. The intelligence has received information that he had invested in some controversial transactions. Meanwhile, the RSS leader in the capital, who was with him at the meeting, told intelligence that he did not know him.

• The Chief Minister has directed the DGP to investigate in detail only if PV Anvar gives a statement about the ADGP's meeting with RSS leaders.
• Only data collection is currently underway. Police Chief Sheikh Darvesh Sahib and Intelligence Chief Manoj Abraham met the Chief Minister and apprised him of the mysterious meetings.

Chief Minister's relative, the middleman

• According to intelligence reports, the chief minister's 'close relative' is acting as a middleman in big deals and stays at Cliff House whenever he is in the capital.
• The chief minister's relative is working on a channel where the controversial businessman invested money. According to intelligence inputs, he met the RSS leader along with the ADGP to discuss a big deal.
